In elementary school, T.A. Bound’s teacher sent students caught talking in class to spend the rest of the class period in the library. Presumably intended as punishment to force offenders to remain silent, T.A. interpreted it differently. Rather than teaching him to be quiet, T.A. learned a valuable lesson: talking loud enough guaranteed him the better part of an hour among his choice of thousands of books.
T.A. Bound is an attorney by trade, who previously published a non-fiction book on insurance claims. His main loves of history and adventure drove him to try his hand at writing. Originally written as a screenplay, when Covid struck in early 2020, shutting down the Georgia court system, T.A. used this unexpected free time to rewrite SHARKANO as a novel.
T.A. Bound has been a voracious reader since he was a child. Raised on the Gulf Coast of Florida, after attending college and Law School in South Carolina, he moved to the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia, his current home, where he lives with his wife and their adopted dog Maksim Gorky, named after the Soviet author. And habitually has at least one book he is currently reading. An adventurous epicurean, when he is not suing evildoers, reading or writing speculative fiction, you will usually find T.A. experimenting with new recipes for gluten free food.
