1.  In my off-hours, I'm a Rock Wife! My husband is the bass guitarist for the Big City Dogs band, an event band based in Fort Lauderdale FL. They've been written up as one of Broward's Top Ten Bands (that's our county) by CBS. They've been on WSVN 7, our FOX Affiliate, ABC, NBC (Miami Live) and, of course, CBS. Keeping up with these guys is a LOT of FUN!

2.  I'm really a homebody, too. We live on a small lake and enjoy bird watching in the morning, we have a family of 6 cormorants and their little ones, a poaching pelican (who steals the fish from right under the cormorant's beak), blue and white herons, ibises (they always seem to have a party) and a big iguana who hangs out in a tree across the lake we've named "Buddy." We call it "Crockett's Not-so-Wild Kingdom".

3.  I'm an absolutely voracious reader. I read everything everyplace: soup cans in the supermarket, the little notices on bathroom hand dryers, books, ebooks and everything else I can get my hands on.

4.  I tried writing poetry for a greeting card company and failed miserably. Not a romantic bone in my body, I guess.

5.  I'm an empath. Not psychic, exactly, but gifted. It can be a blessing or a curse depending on how you handle it but, then, isn't everything in life?
